Orchard is Hiring: Junior Development Designer & Editor

You will work closely with the creative teams to design and create eye-catching development materials, including:

• Designing decks and treatments for new programme ideas.
• Creating sizzles and taster tapes for new programme ideas.
• Sourcing compelling imagery – stills and video – for both, ensuring they illustrate the creative direction of each project.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A keen interest in graphic design, editing and visual flair.
• The ability to translate ideas into eye-catching materials.
• A strong awareness of television, film and popular culture.
• Graphic design skills and the ability to build premium proposals, decks and treatments from scratch using industry standard software.
• Basic editing skills and the ability to cut sizzles, taster tapes, casting reels and mood tapes using industry standard software.
• Familiarity with design and editing programmes such as Final Cut, Premiere, Avid, PowerPoint, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, Keynote and equivalents.
• A passion for unscripted television, as well as creativity and resourcefulness.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• The ability to work quickly and accurately to tight deadlines.
